This last weekend was spent with our Jr. High students at the Young Life Mountain Lodge in Tahoe. This is one of my favorite trips to take with our Jr. High students.
This camp puts two of my favorite passions together, skiing and Jr. High students. For those who have been on a jr. high retreat, nothing ever goes as planned, but I have to say, this was almost a perfect weekend! The weather was awesome, we had new vehicles, so no breakdowns, the leaders were fabulous and so were the kids! Our theme for the weekend was “How Not To Be A Fool.” We talked about how to make wise choices and decisions based on God’s Word. We had some great discussions during our time together and students were left with one questions to remember. If you want to know what the question was, ask a student who went on the trip!
